Forni Industriali Bendotti was founded in 1916 when Evaristo Bendotti designed an industrial furnace to heat pieces of steel to be forged.

Since then four generations of the family have made bendotti a market leader at a world class level.

After the second world war bendotti contributed to the growth of the Italian steel market, becoming, year after year, one of the most well-known and most-appreciated constructors of industrial made-to-measure furnaces.

It was the first company to apply (from the 1960s), the new concept of prefabrication for industrial furnaces.
